This Specialist Disability Accommodation, SDA house in Shepparton is provided by one of our preferred accommodation partners. Felicity Holistic Care provides Supported Independent Living Support services.

The current resident is an easygoing 59-year-old gentleman with limited oral communication. He enjoys day trips around the community and is equally comfortable spending quiet time at home. Respectful of privacy, he values a peaceful living environment and is looking for 1 or 2 male flatmates to share this thoughtfully designed SDA home.

We welcome enquiries from male participants who have SIL provided in their NDIS funding.

What is SIL?

Supported Independent Living, also referred to as SIL, is a NDIS funded support that enables participants to live as independently as possible, where, and how they choose.

Some SIL participants will be eligible to live in a shared home, while others may choose to live alone. Depending on your funding and preferences, our team will help you find the perfect home for you.

Our qualified, and caring team is highly experienced in supporting people living with a disability. They’ll help you with daily living tasks and develop your skills for independent living – including helping you to connect with activities and other supports in the community. Support is tailored to help you achieve the goals in your NDIS Plan.

Who for

SIL services are for people whose capacity to live independently is impacted by their disability, and who have an NDIS package with Supported Independent Living services included at an appropriate level of funding. Felicity Holistic Care provides the SIL services at this residence in Grovedale, Victoria.

How to access

Applicants must have an NDIS plan with relevant funding and have the financial means to pay for the rent/board and utilities. Applicants will be sharing this residence with two existing male clients.
