Client 1: Male mid 50’s, SIL 1:3 with 1 day Community Participation during the week, verbal, likes to watch movies. Enjoys board and card games.

Client 2: Male in his mid-30s. SIL 1:3, engages in Community Participation activities 4 times a week. Enjoys movies, music, and wrestling. Looking to live in a friendly home environment with roommates of similar characteristics. Would like to share bills and build a bigger network of friends.

Who is SIL for?

SIL services are for people whose capacity to live independently is impacted by their disability, and who have an NDIS package with Supported Independent Living services included at an appropriate level of funding.

Some of our preferred accommodation partner’s homes are also available for STA and MTA, commonly known as respite.

Outcome statement

Be supported to develop your confidence to live independently and achieve the goals in your NDIS plan.

How to access

Applicants must have an NDIS plan with relevant funding and have the financial means to pay for the rent/board and utilities.
